Heavy Industries. The Philippine Answer To Fight Back To China

Japan, Germany, Russia, the USA, Britain, India and China have them. Industries. Shipbuilding, Automotive factories, Airplanes. Oh Israel have them too. If not, they wouldn’t won the Six-day war.

The Philippines wouldn’t survive a potential war with China with just rhetoric speech even protest alone. It needs a manufacturing machinery to produce the hardware it needs to defend the nation. And that industry is not around to supply machines it needs to protect the nation. Take for example, Israel was forbade to have weapons from abroad so it has to produce locally copied French fighters with the help from, who else, France. And the rest is history. Won a six day war fighting from the North Syria and from the South Egypt plus Jordan from the West.

The delivery of a few fighter from SoKor of T50 Golden Eagle fighter will not change nor shiver China. As we speak, it has fortified claimed islets, atoll in the West Philippine Sea and keep upgrading the facility putting shame even with the Philippine best ally the USA and Japan, have not deter nor stop the operation.

I hope the stock crash would cease the operation after all, money is the fuel to fund any military adventure. It is a David and goliath drama, the Philippines being the weakest in Asia. All the citizens of the Philippines can do now is pray. Faith. Something the Philippines always relied on during hard times.

Black Widow A Slut? Do Superheroes Value Morals

AVNGR_BlackWidowDuring the promotional of Avenger2 early 2015, two actors playing Thor and Captain America jokingly called Black Widow a whore. This made an uproar on many women turning a bad joke to women rights and freedom of expression and sexuality whatever rights they want to impose. But do fictional characters like superheroes ever contribute to society?

Do notice women superheroes always wore the bare essentials and keep showing off bulging boobs with open cleavages with seducing poses. What do they teach the children especially little girls? Remember, drawing half naked women is a good excuse for men to indulge in soft porn. We men sometimes stop at the sight of a woman walking down the street dressed as if the strip tease in public view for a pole dancing. Even gentlemen pause for such sight in disbelief while the aggressive ones are like wolves watching a potential prey. These sexiness gesture will be greeted definitely with indecent hellos.

The closest women superhero is our Mom. Did she wear lingerie when we are in trouble? Did mommy go to school to confront the school bully who stole cookies mom baked only for you? Or hugged you from nightmares? Did she wear such an outfit?

AVNGR_IronManThe same is true with male superheroes like IronMan and Batman who are womanizer. What do they teach the little boys? Is it right to treat women like some kind of basketball being passed to other players trying to get a score and forget about it.

There is a short supply of good role models out there. But I still prefer the mild manner Superman anytime.

Superpower Management. Why Spiderman Must Learn From Superman

Peter Parker’s uncle Ben have a reverse philosophy and with a teenager suddenly got superpowers that does not know how to handle great strength, it can go wrong.  It will be a trial and error, lonely self discovery, experimenting what works and what is not applicable.

Unlike Clark Kent, he have a good start. He started young with a poster parent from a humble farm away from a hungry city life. He was taught to control his hidden powers and not to reveal it for his earthly dad knows, the world is not ready for it. As the last installment of Superman ” Man of Steal” movie, the most touching part is, even to the brink of death, his dad would not allow to save himself by his son, sacrificing his life to protect the person he cared. Honestly I almost cried on that part.

Its all about timing. And when the time is right, the condition is also right, the world will be ready for it. As we say in Filipino, ” sa tamang panahon ” (the right time).

Have patience, keep practicing, sharpen those skill, and when we are ready, it will come.
